Du & Berry creates thoughtful womenswear rooted in material, ease, and quiet confidence.

Founded in New York City by designer and lifelong artist Lin Du, the brand emerged from a desire for clothing that is expressive yet effortless. After graduating from Parsons, Lin recognized a gap in the market for garments that balance comfort, quality, and femininity, pieces that feel considered without feeling complicated.

Lin designs for women in a state of becoming. She often thinks of her mother and grandmother while sketching, drawing inspiration from their ability to approach hardship with humor and resolve. Grounded in her Chinese heritage, Lin approaches design with a deep sensitivity to the histories and lived experiences that shape how women move through the world.

Her clothing is designed to work the first time you put it on, for women moving through full, layered days.

Du & Berry is guided by material, ease, and understanding. Silhouettes are refined yet relaxed, fabrics chosen for their texture and movement, and details kept subtle but intentional. Rather than chasing trends, the brand focuses on garments that feel lasting and personal.

Every style begins with fabric - silk, cotton, linen, wool, cashmere - selected for the way it drapes, moves, and ages over time. All garments are designed in our New York City studio and produced in small quantities with family run factories in New York City and China that prioritize ethical labor conditions and fair wages.
